Bentonite process from mine to dispatch

Manufacturing Workflow

Eight-step bentonite process flow

A clear, modern workflow that keeps production traceable from raw material assessment to final dispatch.

01
Start with the right mineral

Raw Material Assessment

Samples from selected mine zones are reviewed for clay quality, moisture, colour and likely application suitability before bulk handling begins.

02
Careful excavation

Mining & Excavation

Bentonite is extracted from mineral-rich deposits with planned handling that helps keep raw material clean, usable and easy to process.

03
Prepare for consistency

Sorting & Natural Drying

Raw lumps are sorted, sized and naturally dried to bring the material into a suitable condition for grinding and further processing.

04
Performance conditioning

Activation & Conditioning

Where required, clay is activated and conditioned to improve swelling, bonding, viscosity and other application-specific performance factors.

05
Controlled conversion

Pulverising & Processing

The conditioned material is converted into powder or granules using controlled grinding systems for consistent fineness and texture.

06
Application-led separation

Grade-wise Classification

Processed bentonite is classified and stored by grade so every product aligns with its technical specification and end-use industry.

07
Approval before packing

Quality Testing

Samples are reviewed at defined intervals for key parameters. Corrective action is taken before approval whenever improvement is required.

08
Safe supply movement

Packing & Dispatch

After final approval, material is packed in suitable bags or bulk formats and prepared for safe domestic or export dispatch.
